The Learning Web is all about young people. For 41 years we have touched the lives of over 12,000 adolescents and young adults, with 3,000 of these being homeless youth.
- Igniting self-sufficiency for homeless teens
- Igniting intellectual and personal growth
- Igniting passions for a future career
- Igniting a love of service to our community
The Learning Web believes that all young people deserve to make the transition to adulthood successfully—completing their education; developing a career path leading to employment and self-sufficiency; helping make a better community.
Sparking a passion, connecting youth with an adult role model, helping youth learn how to live on their own and believe in themselves, helping them grow a vision for their future—these are our goals.
Time and again we are told that we have achieved these goals as Learning Web youth evolve into valued members of our community—in the workplace, as parents, as neighbors, as active citizens. Some of our participants share their passion for The Learning Web in the video below. We invite you to listen to their stories.
The Learning Web is raising funds so that it can continue to offer ALL community young people career exploration, apprenticeship, life skills; and, for homeless youth, housing and skills for independent living. Please support our Champions’ Challenges as they combine their passion for The Learning Web with their own personal passions to raise much needed funds for Learning Web programs.
